Make-A-Wish Children’s Foundation Pakistan ( Formerly Make-A-Wish Pakistan ) is dedicated to grant the most cherished wishes of critically ill children in Pakistan. The mission is to enrich the lives of these children with hope, strength and joy by fulfilling their heartfelt wishes in the last era of their lives.
The vision is to grant the wish of every eligible child in Pakistan, believing that a wish is more than just a gift, it is a journey designed to complement a child’s medical treatment and give them the hope, strength and joy they need to fight their illness.
What Do We Do With Your Donation?
We use most of your donation to help our wish children to grant their one-true wish. There are many different wish types:
“To-have”
Access to items such as a computer, a bicycle, or even a pet often represents more than simple ownership it reflects meaningful experiences and the creation of lasting memories. For example, a child may wish to have a bicycle, providing them with greater independence and a reliable way to travel to school and engage with their community.
“To-meet”
Opportunities to meet admired individuals, such as celebrities or digital creators, can have a powerful emotional impact on a child. These experiences often inspire confidence, creativity, and a sense of possibility. For example, a child may wish to meet their favorite streamer, gaining encouragement and insight from someone they look up to.
“To-go”
Opportunities to visit special places, such as sporting events, cruise trips, or entertainment parks, can bring immense joy to children and create unforgettable moments that help them momentarily forget their challenges. For example, a child may wish to visit a theme park, allowing them to enjoy a day filled with excitement, adventure, and happiness.
“To-be”
Many children dream of becoming someone who can make a meaningful impact, such as a doctor, firefighter, or scientist. These wishes often reflect their desire to grow stronger, help others, and contribute positively to their communities. For example, a child may wish to become a teacher, inspiring and educating others while making a difference in people’s lives.
